This is part of a new series of paintings in which I plan to explore the pursuit of happiness through
religion and spirituality. This work will explore the fact that we are living in an age where the commoditization of spirituality is greater than it has ever been in the modern era. I hope to explore the nature of both spirituality and happiness as well as the idea of faith as the ultimate self-indulgent luxury object.
